Tresticklan National Park

Västra Götalands län

Tresticklan lies in north-western Dalsland near the Norwegian border and is relatively difficult to reach without a car. The Råbocken entrance is the simplest way in.

How do I plan a first visit to Tresticklan National Park?

The easiest entrance is Råbocken in the east. The access road is gravel and is normally not winter-maintained, making seasonal road conditions an important planning factor.

Road conditions

The gravel access road is normally not maintained in winter, so snow, ice and thaw conditions can affect access.

Walking from the car park

From the parking area, a marked trail leads roughly 700 metres to the park boundary.

Alternative entrances

Bodalsviken/Budalsvika and Klevmarken can only be reached on foot.
